This lesson reinforced what I think is a good lower intermediate grammatical point. In خطوط مشغلة it is instructive that the adjective, "busy" is feminine because the noun it modifies,"lines," in a non-human plural.
But i was told by a book that non human plurals are always treated as feminine singular, is that correct for the most part?
I always got in the habit of using the feminine whenever I was talking about non human plurals. Hopefully I won't have to break this habit. Is this correct for the most part?
