Is this kind of tool existing?

Postby caloche » Sun Aug 19, 2007 3:57 pm

Hello,

Since i learn arabic, I wish i could find an audio dictionary.

...not the kind of dictionnary we can find on the web (where we have to click on a word to have the translation).
I'd like it in a flow. the english word, then 2 or 3 seconds to let me remember if I know it, and then the arabic translation. Just one file (or some specific ones), so i can listen to it during the day, and even the night, while i'm sleeping :-)

Does anyone know if it exists?
And if it doesn't, do you think it could be a good tool?

thx

Salam caloche and AHLAN in ArabicPod;

very nice idea and indeed very useful, myself and Moshaya will discuss the idea and I'm sure both would be interested in making it.. We have huge potential and we would be glad to put it in the right direction
Keep it up with ArabicPod and soon you'll find more and more.

Salam

I found this, which is not really the audio dictionnary, but the concept is really helpful to learn vocabulary (you'll need to doanload the software). The fact that we can add list of words makes the solution evolutive.
