Ana wa habibi

Postby Thierry » Sat Sep 01, 2007 5:41 am

Hello,

a few years ago when I took Arabic lessons, I learnt a song that went like this :
" Ana wa habibi, ma 3adish haddi, ed-donia dia 3ala hadoh wa hadi " (approximatively), which meant " Me and my beloved, we do not lack anything, the world is at his size and my size " (approximatively again !)

I think the singer was an Egyptian Jewish actor around 1930. It was a duo with a woman.

Does anyone know the name of the singer, of the song, and where I can find it ?

Alfi shukr,

Thierry
